Delicate dough, sweet apples, honey - this is what will brighten up your autumn days!
It is necessary
- - 350 g flour;
- - a pinch of salt;
- - 1, 5 tsp baking powder;
- - 150 g butter;
- - 150 g of sugar;
- - 1 lemon;
- - 4 sweet apples;
- - 2 eggs;
- - 170 ml of milk;
- - 2 tbsp. honey.
Instructions
Step 1
Get the butter and eggs out of the refrigerator in advance: they should be at room temperature and the butter should soften.
Step 2
Separate the whites from the yolks and beat with a whisk until stiff. Put in the refrigerator.
Step 3
Beat the softened butter in a food processor with the addition of sugar in a light airy cream. Add yolks to the oil mixture and mix again until smooth.
Step 4
Remove the zest from the lemon and squeeze the juice. Add the zest to the creamy mixture and set aside the juice for now.
Step 5
Sift flour, baking powder and salt into a large bowl. Add milk and dry ingredients to the butter-yolk mixture one by one. Beat well after each addition.
Step 6
Add whipped egg whites to the rest of the ingredients and mix gently.
Step 7
Cut the apples into thin slices.
Step 8
Pour the dough into a mold (first grease it with butter and sprinkle with flour) and put apple slices on top. If desired, sprinkle the cake with a little sugar on top and send it to an oven preheated to 180 degrees for an hour.
Step 9
Heat honey and lemon juice in a saucepan. Mix until smooth. When the pie is ready, pour the resulting sauce over it. Let stand for 5-7 minutes and serve warm.
