The fish does not need to be used to prepare any dish. It can be salted and served as an independent snack. There are many recipes for this. The most common of these is dry salting.
First, rinse the fish thoroughly in cold water. Then mix salt with various spices and grate the fish. Thoroughly wrap the mackerel in a bag and refrigerate for three days. Add salt to taste.

- drinking water - 1 liter;
- pepper to taste;
- bay leaf - several pieces;
- sugar - 15-20 g;
- salt - 50 g.
Make a marinade. To do this, bring the spiced water to a boil. Prepare the mackerel in advance. Put the fillet on a plate and cover with the marinade. Send the fish to the refrigerator for two days.
As a spice, you can use a special mixture that is sold in the store. Be sure to wash the fish before salting. Serve cooked mackerel with onions and herbs. And for flavor, drizzle it with a mixture of vegetable oil and vinegar.
