Nuggets are small juicy chunks of chicken breast or fish fillets in a crispy crust. They can be baked or fried, chopped on skewers, garnished and served as an original snack. If you add any salad or fresh vegetables to them, then they will become a full-fledged hearty main course. Cheese nuggets are very popular. They are prepared simply, quickly and work out wonderfully well even from an inexperienced cook. This dish can easily surprise guests and family members.

- 400 g chicken breast;
- 200 g of hard cheese;
- 2 eggs;
- 100 g sifted flour;
- 50 ml of vegetable oil;
- salt
- ground black pepper to taste.
- For the sauce:
- 20 g mayonnaise;
- 5 g granular mustard;
- 10 g of honey;
- 10 g of water.
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the chicken breasts and cut them into thin, oblong slices. For this dish, it is better to buy chilled breast, not frozen. It should always be cut across the grain.
Step 2
Grate the cheese on a fine grater. Use only hard cheese such as parmesan. You can add some of your favorite cheese to this variety. With the help of such a mixture, you can easily give different flavors to nuggets.

Beat the eggs with a fork or mixer until smooth.

Combine the sifted flour, pepper and salt in a bowl. If the cheese is very salty, then you need to be extremely careful with salt. If you're using Parmesan, it's best not to use it at all. For piquancy, you can season the flour with turmeric.
Step 5
Dip the breast pieces alternately in flour, beaten egg and cheese. Instead of flour, you can roll the nuggets in wheat bread crumbs.
Step 6
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and sauté breaded chicken pieces over medium heat. They should be fried until a light golden crust forms, and then turned over to the other side. The hot vegetable oil should completely cover the meat pieces. With this method of cooking, this dish has a ruddy, aromatic crust, and tender meat inside.
Step 7
Make honey mustard sauce. Its bittersweet taste will perfectly complement the taste of nuggets, making this dish much juicier. Combine mayonnaise, mustard, honey and water in a bowl. Instead of granular mustard, you can use ordinary mustard. Pre-melt the candied honey in a water bath so that it becomes liquid. To make the sauce more tender, pour some cream into it.

Place ready-made nuggets on a platter, pour over the sauce, sprinkle with herbs and serve hot with any vegetable garnish.
