Airy yeast buns, in which the sweet poppy filling is perfectly combined with the freshness of the apple and the spicy sourness of the cranberry, will become a real morning feast for children and adults!

It is necessary

  • Dough:
  • - 800 g of premium flour;
  • - 14 g dry yeast;
  • - 100 g of sugar;
  • - a couple of pinches of salt;
  • - 400 ml of milk;
  • - 200 g of butter.
  • Filling:
  • - 2 packages of poppy filling;
  • - 2 large apples;
  • - two handfuls of dried cranberries.
  • - 2 yolks;
  • - 2 tbsp. milk.

Instructions

Step 1

We take out all the ingredients that are stored in the refrigerator (butter, eggs) in advance - they should be at room temperature.

Step 2

Sift flour into a deep container and add yeast. Add salt and mix. Warm the milk slightly and add to the dry mixture. Stir in softened butter and knead an elastic soft dough. Transfer to a large bowl, lightly sprinkle with flour. Leave in a warm place without drafts to approach until doubled. During this time, knead the dough a couple of times.

Step 3

Lightly sprinkle the surface on which we are going to work with the dough. Divide the dough into two parts and roll each into a rectangle. Lubricate with poppy filling. Three apples on a coarse grater and put on top of the poppy. Sprinkle with dried cranberries and roll on the wide side. With a sharpened knife, cut it into "wheels" 3 cm wide.

Step 4

We line the baking sheet with baking paper and transfer the future buns to it. Cover with a towel and leave to rise again for about half an hour. In the meantime, preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

Step 5

Mix the yolks with milk and grease the buns. We put in the oven for about 20 - 25 minutes.
