- - 1 cup mashed ripe bananas (2-3 large bananas)

- - 2 teaspoons dark rum
- - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Step 1
Prepare the icing first. To do this, combine the butter, sugar and corn syrup in a small saucepan. Put on fire and stir constantly until the butter is completely melted. Boil for another 1 minute.

Spread the resulting frosting evenly in a round baking dish (22 cm in diameter), lightly greased with vegetable oil. Let it cool completely.

Now we are preparing the dough. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.

Take a mixer and in another large bowl whisk together the butter and granulated sugar (brown and white). Add the eggs, then the banana puree, sour cream, rum and vanilla.

Bake the pie in the oven for 40-45 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center of the pie comes out dry. After baking, let cool for 15 minutes.
