  • - flour - 3-3, 5 cups
  • - water (boiling water) - 1 glass
  • - vegetable oil - 4 tablespoons
  • - sugar - 1 tsp.
  • - salt - 1 tsp
  • - tomatoes - 5 pcs.
  • - feta cheese - 200 g
  • - garlic - 2 cloves
  • - herbs, salt - to taste

Instructions

Step 1

Stir sugar and salt in boiling water, add flour and vegetable oil. Knead the dough and let it "rest" for half an hour. This is necessary for the dough to be light, soft and airy.

Step 2

Cut the tomatoes into slices. If desired, and if the tomatoes are strong enough, you can pour boiling water over them and remove the skin.

Step 3

Take feta cheese and mash it with a fork, then mix with chopped herbs and garlic.

Step 4

Roll half of the dough into a wide, thin layer. Place the tomato slices three centimeters apart. Place the filling on top.

Step 5

Roll the remaining half of the dough into a similar thin layer and cover the first one. It's time to mold the bombs. Cut out the pies with an ordinary glass along the contours of the tomatoes. Try to avoid hole formation! If there are any, close them up manually.

Step 6

Fry the pies on both sides in a skillet in a large amount of hot oil until golden brown. "Bombs" are ready! It is advisable to spread the pies on a paper towel so that it absorbs excess oil.
