Meatballs are small balls of meat that are included in the menu of medical, dietary and baby food. Breaded meatballs are juicy minced meat with a crispy crust. They can decorate not only dozens of dishes, but also serve as an independent dish.

Main Ingredients:

  • 0.5 kg of ground pork and beef;
  • 3 potatoes;
  • 1 egg;
  • 1 head of onion;
  • 200 g breading;
  • 30 g of 3.2% milk;
  • non-iodized salt, pepper mixture.

Additional ingredients:

  • 250 g sour cream (20%);
  • 15 g flour (premium);
  • salt.

Preparation:

  1. Boil the peeled potatoes, defrost the minced meat.
  2. Cool boiled potatoes, peel and crush in mashed potatoes, break a chicken egg to it, mix.
  3. Combine minced meat with potato and egg mass, stir thoroughly until smooth, set aside for now.
  4. Chop the onion as small as possible, fry in oil in a pan until completely softened. Cool after cooking. Then add to the minced meat.
  5. Pour milk into a separate bowl and add 2 tablespoons of bread crumbs there, mix so that there are no lumps. Send the resulting mass to a bowl with minced meat, also add a mixture of peppers and salt. The minced meat must be mixed well with your hands so that it turns out to be homogeneous and plastic.
  6. From the whole minced meat, form meat balls with a diameter of 3-5 cm. Roll each in breading. It is better to roll the meatballs with damp hands, so the meat will not stick to your palms.
  7. Heat a skillet with plenty of oil and add the rolled meatballs. Fry over medium heat on all sides until golden brown. Next, pour a small amount of water into the pan and simmer the fried balls for no more than 5 minutes. Then place all the meatballs on a platter.
  8. Do not pour out the contents of the pan, it will be needed to make sour cream sauce. Add flour to the remaining meat juice in a frying pan, fry for 5-6 minutes, add sour cream and salt, stir immediately so that there are no lumps. The sauce will thicken in just 1-2 minutes. The fire can be turned off, cover the pan with a lid.

When serving the meatballs on the table, do not forget to pour them with sour cream sauce; boiled potatoes with fresh herbs are suitable as a side dish.
