This recipe is part of a series of culinary experiments, but if you like black bread toast with jam, you will definitely love it!
It is necessary
- - 350 g whole grain black bread crumbs;
- - 600 ml heavy cream;
- - 300 ml of low-fat cream;
- - 250 g icing sugar;
- - 4 eggs;
- - 2 tbsp. rum.
- - jam or berry sauce for serving.
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare bread crumbs by frying them in a dry frying pan or in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for about two to three minutes: until golden brown and dry. Leave the finished bread to cool.
Step 2
In the meantime, combine both types of chilled (for better whipping) cream in a large container. Whisk.
Step 3
Divide the eggs into whites and yolks.
Step 4
Whisk the yolk with the addition of alcohol and add to the cream. Mix thoroughly. By the way, alcohol will prevent ice cream from crystallizing!
Step 5
Add brown bread; stir so that it is evenly distributed over the creamy mass.
Step 6
Beat the whites until firm peaks and gently combine with the creamy yolk mixture in several steps. Transfer to a suitable container and place in the freezer. Remember to stir the ice cream several times as it sets.
Step 7
Serve with your favorite jam or berry sauce.
