Today it is difficult to buy high-quality truffles, because manufacturers are striving to replace natural and expensive ingredients with cheaper ones, so you should probably make your own truffles.
To make chocolate truffles at home, you will need: one and a half glasses of sugar, half a glass of water, 100 g of butter, 5 tablespoons of cocoa (regular, classic, such as the well-known Golden Label), 400 g of milk powder.
Cooking chocolate truffles
Put sugar in a small saucepan, cover with water and put on fire. Boil this mixture for about 3 minutes, then remove from heat and melt butter in this syrup. Gradually stir in the cocoa mixture, then the milk powder. After the mixture is well mixed, put it in the refrigerator for an hour or two.
From the cooled mass, mold candy of any shape, for example, in the form of balls, hemispheres or pyramids. Dip the resulting candies in cocoa (or finely chopped nuts, or finely chopped waffles without filling).
By the way, if you like nuts, you can add chopped nuts to these candies. For such an amount of products, you can take about 100 g of walnuts, pistachios or peanuts, peel, chop in a food processor and add to the candy mass after all the milk powder has been added. Well, in order to experiment with shades of taste of sweets, you can use a little vanilla essence, rum, cognac (separately) as flavoring agents.
