A hot cheese appetizer is a good addition to any festive table. Delicate filling of croquettes with a crispy crust will delight your guests. Cheese balls are prepared quickly and easily.

- - 300-350 g of hard cheese;
- - 5 eggs;
- - 200 g of bread crumbs;
- - 2-3 tablespoons of walnuts;
- - 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil;
- - 150 g sour cream;
- - 150 g of water.
Instructions
Step 1
Carefully separate the yolks from the whites using a special tool. In a separate bowl, beat the whites until they form a thick foam. Add water to the yolks and mix well.
Step 2
Grate the hard cheese on a fine grater and carefully add to the whipped egg whites. Peel the walnuts, chop finely and add to the mass. Stir the mixture. Roll cheese balls from the finished mass. Place them on a plate so that the shape is preserved. Then refrigerate for 1.5-2 hours.
Step 3
After a certain time, remove the balls. Place the bread crumbs on the table and roll the croquettes evenly in them. Then soak them in egg yolks and re-roll in breadcrumbs.
Step 4
Heat the pan well, add vegetable oil to it. Add prepared croquettes and fry over medium heat for two minutes until they are evenly golden brown.
Step 5
Place croquettes on a platter. Serve sour cream separately. To add flavor to the dish, place a few mint leaves on the hot croquettes.
