- 300 gr flour
- 160 gr margarine
- milk 3 tbsp. spoons
- yolks 2 pcs.
- sugar 100 gr
- filling:
- apples 2 kg
- zest and juice of 1 lemon
- eggs 6 pcs
- cottage cheese 1 kg
- sour cream 200 gr
- sugar 200 gr
- vanilla sugar 1-2 bags
- starch 80 gr
- apricot jam 6 tablespoons
Instructions
Step 1
Make a dough with flour, milk, egg yolks and granulated sugar. Put it in the refrigerator for an hour, wrapped in plastic wrap.
Step 2
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Line a baking sheet with paper. After taking the dough out of the refrigerator, roll it into a thin layer and place it on a prepared baking sheet. To make the dough rise evenly, prick it in several places with a fork. The cake is baked until half cooked for about 15 minutes.
Step 3
For the filling, peel the apples, cut them into thin slices and drizzle with lemon juice. Cut the fourth part of the apples very finely.
Step 4
Separate the whites from the yolks. Knead curd with sour cream, sugar, vanilla, starch and zest. Add yolks and finely chopped apples. Whisk the egg whites into a strong foam. Gently mix the egg whites into the filling using a top-down motion.
Step 5
Put the filling on the semi-finished cake. Arrange the apple slices on top. Bake the curd for about an hour at 180 degrees. Remove from oven and top with apricot jam.
