Oven-baked apples are delicious and healthy. Stuffed with various ingredients (cottage cheese, nuts, rice, honey, meat or cheese), they are a great treat for a festive and everyday table.
Apple desserts
To prepare the honey apple dessert you will need:
- 6 large apples;
- 250 g of cottage cheese;
- 3 tbsp. l. liquid honey;
- 1 tbsp. l. Sahara;
- 6 halves of walnut kernels.
Wash the apples thoroughly, dry them and cut the flesh and cores. Then sprinkle the resulting apple "baskets" with granulated sugar. Mix cottage cheese with honey and fill apples with this mixture, put half of the walnut kernels on top. Pour each apple on top with 1 teaspoon of honey, transfer to an ovenproof dish, greased with oil, and put in an oven preheated to 200 ° C for 20 minutes, bake until tender.
To bake apples with rice, you need to take the following ingredients:
- 8 medium sized apples;
- 140 g of walnuts;
- 5 tbsp. l. granulated sugar;
- 100 g of rice;
- 2, 5 glasses of milk;
- 2 eggs;
- 3 g vanillin;
- 1.5 g of cinnamon.
Wash the apples, pat dry with a paper towel and cut the core with a little pulp. Pound the walnut kernels in a mortar or grind in a blender and mix with cinnamon and 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar. Stuff the prepared apples with hazelnuts and place in a greased flat fireproof dish.
Sort the rice, cover with milk, add the remaining 3 tablespoons of sugar and boil until tender. Then cool, season with vanilla and, stirring continuously, beat in the yolks one by one. Beat the egg whites separately into a thick foam, then stir in the rice mass. Place the cooked rice over the apples and bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes over medium heat.
Apples baked with minced meat
Not only desserts are made from apples. If the fruits are stuffed with minced meat or cheese, you get an original dish, hearty and tasty, capable of surprising even fastidious gourmets. To prepare apples baked with minced meat, you will need:
- 5 large apples;
- 300 g minced meat (beef and pork);
- 3 tomatoes;
- 1 head of onion;
- 2-3 cloves of garlic;
- greens;
- vegetable oil;
- pepper;
- salt.
Peel the onions and chop into thin half rings. Peel the cloves of garlic too and cut them into plates, as thin as possible. Then fry the onion and garlic in vegetable oil until golden, then cool and add to the minced meat. To prepare this dish, it is better to take mixed minced beef and pork. Mix everything well, transfer to a frying pan with vegetable oil and fry, stirring constantly, for 5-8 minutes. Wash the tomatoes, pat dry with a paper towel, cut into small cubes and add to the minced meat. Season with pepper and salt, stir and simmer for 5 minutes.
Wash the apples, dry them, carefully cut off the tops and remove the cores from the fruit along with the pulp. You should get a kind of apple "baskets" for baking with a wall thickness of about 1 centimeter. Cut the pulp into small cubes and combine with the fried minced meat. Mix everything well and stuff the apples with the cooked filling. Put some finely chopped greens on top and cover with the cut top. Place the apples stuffed with minced meat in an ovenproof dish and set for 25 minutes in an oven preheated to 200 ° C, bake.
