Turkey meat is an easily digestible dietary meat. For steaks, meat is taken from the drumstick or breast. Of course, it is better to cook from the meat of young poultry, since the meat of adult turkeys requires careful beating and long-term marinating. A vegetable side dish is suitable for such steaks.
It is necessary
- For two servings:
- - 500 g turkey fillet;
- - 4 tomatoes;
- - a glass of rolled oats;
- - celery stalk;
- - 1 egg, 1 bell pepper, carrot;
- - 6 tbsp. tablespoons of olive oil;
- - herbs, salt, pepper.
Instructions
Step 1
Beat the pieces of turkey fillet well, but beat off gently - the pieces of meat should remain intact. Season with pepper, salt to taste, you can add your favorite spices.
Step 2
Rinse the bell pepper, peel off the seeds, cut off the white partitions, cut into strips together with the peeled carrots and celery. Cut the tomatoes into large quarters, chop the greens.
Step 3
Beat the egg, coat the steaks with it, then roll the meat in rolled oats. Fry the steaks on both sides in vegetable or olive oil, then cook until cooked under the lid.
Step 4
Fry the prepared vegetables in olive oil for three minutes. Then simmer them until tender under the lid. Add salt and pepper at your discretion.
Step 5
Place the steaks on a plate along with the vegetables, garnish with chopped fresh herbs.
