Tart is an original French dish, which is an open pie made from shortcrust pastry. Depending on the filling, it can be a dessert or a staple treat. Tart with an apple turns out to be unusually tender, which can be baked in small portioned tins.
It is necessary
- For the test:
- - 150 g flour;
- - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of ice water;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of powdered sugar;
- - 50 g butter;
- - salt on the tip of the knife.
- For filling:
- - 2 apples;
- - 2 eggs;
- - 3 tbsp. tablespoons of sugar;
- - 80 ml of cream.
Instructions
Step 1
Make shortbread dough. To do this, mix the sifted flour with salt and powdered sugar. Add chopped butter to these and rub with your fingertips to create a greasy crumb. Then sprinkle ice water over the flour mass and gently knead the dough with your hands. Then put it in a bag and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
Step 2
Roll out the dough and place in baking tins, having previously greased them with butter. Peel the apples, cut into thin slices and lay on the dough in an even layer.
Step 3
Whisk eggs with granulated sugar and cream. Pour the cooked mixture over the apples and place the tart in an oven preheated to 180 ° C for 20 minutes.
Step 4
Pour the finished tart with a little sugar syrup or caramel. Let it cool at room temperature for a while and then serve as a dessert.
