Bread is very popular in Italy. That is why they have just a huge number of varieties of it. I suggest you bake a bread called Grissini. This pastry can be prepared with absolutely any additive.
It is necessary
- - flour - 400 g;
- - warm water - 250 ml;
- - fresh yeast - 20 g;
- - vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons;
- - sugar - 1 tablespoon;
- - salt - 0.5 teaspoon;
- - Dutch cheese - 100 g;
- - milk - 2 tablespoons;
- - sesame or poppy seeds.
Instructions
Step 1
Put the salt together with granulated sugar in one bowl. Pour this mixture with 200 ml of warm water. Mix everything well until the ingredients are completely dissolved. Dissolve the fresh yeast in the remaining water, then add it to the sugar-salt solution. Then pour half of the flour there, sifting it several times beforehand. In this form, remove the dough in the heat for about 2 hours.
Step 2
After 2 hours have passed, add the rest of the wheat flour to the dough, as well as grated Dutch cheese and sunflower oil. After thoroughly kneading the dough, put it in the heat for 40 minutes.
Step 3
After the time has elapsed, lightly knead the finished elastic dough with your hands, then divide it into 4 equal parts. Then cut each of the parts obtained into 5 more identical pieces.
Step 4
From small pieces of dough, form sticks that are about 20 centimeters long and the same thickness as a pencil. If you make the thickness a little bit thicker, the bread will not crunch properly.
Step 5
Gently roll the dough strands in poppy seeds or sesame seeds. You can use any other sprinkling ingredient you like, even fried onions.
Step 6
On a baking sheet covered with a sheet of parchment, place the boneless dough sticks at some distance from each other. Gently grease the surface of each of them with milk. Bake Grissini bread in this form for 15 minutes at an oven temperature of 200 degrees.
Step 7
After removing the finished baked goods from the oven, sprinkle with a little water and cover, for example, with a towel. Grissini bread is ready!
