An easy-to-prepare dessert turns out to be very tender and tasty, with a rich orange aroma.
It is necessary
- - 2 pcs. oranges;
- - 5 pieces. egg yolks;
- - 300 ml of milk;
- - 100 g of sugar;
- - 20 g of gelatin;
Instructions
Step 1
Using a knife, remove the zest from the orange and grate it. Only the top layer of the zest (the "colored" layer) should be removed, as it contains all the aromatic substances, but the white layer only adds bitterness to the dish.
Step 2
Squeeze juice from peeled oranges, you should get about half a glass. Add gelatin to juice and leave to swell for one hour.
Step 3
Put the orange zest in milk, put on fire, add granulated sugar, stirring continuously, bring to a boil. To prevent milk curdling, remove from heat, pour juice with gelatin into the milk mixture, whisking constantly. Then add egg yolks to the milk mixture and put on the fire again, stirring constantly, simmer over low heat for about 15 minutes.
Step 4
Pour the mass into molds and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.
