These English pancakes will surprise you with their unusual dense texture and surprisingly balanced taste. Isn't it an option for a royal breakfast?
It is necessary
- - 125 g flour;
- - 35 g of sugar;
- - a pinch of ginger and cinnamon;
- - a pinch of salt;
- - 65 g of butter;
- - 1 tbsp. raisins;
- - 1 tbsp. cranberries;
- - 1 small egg;
- - milk to the desired dough consistency.
Instructions
Step 1
Sift the flour into a large bowl - this will make our pancakes more fluffy. Mix with sugar and add a pinch of ginger and cinnamon.
Step 2
The oil should be placed briefly in the freezer along with the grater. Then we rub the butter on a cold grater into a bowl of flour and add a pinch of salt. Grind everything into flour crumbs and add raisins and cranberries. Make a depression in the mixture and break the egg there. Knead the dough adding enough milk to roll out the dough.
Step 3
Roll out the dough with a rolling pin into a layer about 1 cm thick. Use a glass to cut out future pancakes. Bake in a non-stick hot skillet until blush on both sides. Serve with natural yoghurt or sour cream.
