Baking bread is just as fun as making any other dish, so you don't have to be afraid to experiment. I suggest you bake bread with ham and onions. The baked goods are very tasty and aromatic.
It is necessary
- - wheat flour - 500 g;
- - fresh yeast - 15 g;
- - salt - 0.5 teaspoon;
- - olive oil - 2 tablespoons;
- - water - 300 ml.
- For filling:
- - ham or smoked brisket - 100 g;
- - large onion - 1 pc.
Instructions
Step 1
In a bowl with a deep bottom, sift the wheat flour through a sieve. Pour salt into the same cup so that it is at the edges. Dissolve fresh yeast in 100 ml of warm water. Then pour this liquid into the center of the flour, after making a small notch in it. Starting in the middle, knead the dough for 10 minutes. Add the remaining water as needed, not all at once. Then add olive oil there.
Step 2
After greasing a loose deep dish with olive oil, transfer the kneaded dough into it. Cover it with a cloth, such as a towel, and let sit for 45 minutes. This is necessary in order for the dough to fit and its volumes become 2 times larger than the original ones.
Step 3
In the meantime, prepare the filling for the future bread. To do this, cut the ham into small cubes. Do the same with the onions. Fry these ingredients in sunflower oil in one skillet.
Step 4
Roll out the enlarged dough into a layer and put the resulting filling on it. Having carefully mixed it into the dough, put the future bread in the heat for another 45 minutes.
Step 5
Roll the ham and onion dough into a bread shape, then transfer to a baking tray. Using a sharp knife, make transverse cuts on the surface of the dough and let it sit for another 10 minutes.
Step 6
In an oven preheated to a temperature of 200 degrees, send the future bread with ham and onions to bake for about 40-45 minutes.
Step 7
Cool the finished dish directly in the oven. The bread with ham and onions is ready!
