Meat baked with a spicy honey sauce will become the main dish on your festive table!
It is necessary
- - 2-2, 5 kg of meat;
- - 0, 5 tbsp. brown sugar;
- - 25 ml of liquid honey;
- - 1, 5 tbsp. hot brown mustard;
- - a pinch of ground cloves;
- - 1 tbsp. pecans.
Instructions
Step 1
On the piece of meat you have chosen (you can choose with or without bone), we make a diamond-shaped mesh of cuts about a quarter of a centimeter deep.
Step 2
We heat the oven to a temperature of 160 degrees and prepare a refractory mold by covering it with foil. We spread the prepared piece into it and cover it with foil on top. We send it to a hot oven for an hour and a half.
Step 3
While the meat is baking, chop the nuts into small crumbs with a knife (you can use a hand mill or a kitchen processor). We should have about half a glass of nut crumbs.
Step 4
Let's move on to making the sauce. To do this, in a small saucepan, mix sugar and hot mustard, add liquid fragrant honey and a pinch of ground cloves. We put on minimum and heat and wait until bubbles appear on the surface of the sauce. Then remove it from the stove and add the chopped pecans. We mix.
Step 5
An hour after the start of cooking the meat, we take it out of the oven, carefully remove the foil and rub it thoroughly with the sauce (leaving a little for serving). We return to the oven for another 20 minutes.
Step 6
After 20 minutes, take out and grease with a mixture of drained sauce and released meat juice. We send it to the oven for another 20 minutes.
Step 7
We take out the finished dish from the oven, let it cool for literally 5-10 minutes, pour over the remaining sauce and serve!
