The recipe for those very delicate, crumbly and fragrant biscuits from childhood!

- For 10 small cookies:
- - 100 g of sugar;
- - 50 g butter;
- - 1 small egg + 1 small yolk;
- - 200 g of premium flour;
- - 55 ml of milk;
- - a pinch of soda;
- - a pinch of vanillin;
- - icing sugar.

Step 1
All foods should be at room temperature. Therefore, the egg, milk and butter should be removed from the refrigerator beforehand.
Step 2
Let's start by making the syrup. In a small saucepan, combine milk, sugar and vanillin, put on fire, bring to a boil and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Set aside from heat to cool to room temperature.
Step 3
Mix the syrup, softened butter and egg with a mixer. You will not be able to achieve complete homogeneity, because the oil will have too much liquid, but there is nothing to worry about! Sift flour with a pinch of baking soda to the liquid ingredients and quickly knead the dough.
Step 4
Preheat the oven to 210 degrees. Line the baking sheet with baking paper. Roll out the dough to a thickness of 0.7 - 0.6 mm and cut out the future cookies. Mix the yolk with a teaspoon of warm water and grease the workpieces with a brush. Put it on a baking sheet and put it in the oven for 12 minutes. Sprinkle the finished products with icing sugar while they are still warm.
