Step 1
To prepare this dish, take chicken, you can also use chicken breasts. Rinse under running water, pat dry with a paper towel. It is better to take chilled meat. If you will be cooking from frozen food, defrost it first. It is better to wait for the meat to go away on its own, but if time is running out, you can use the microwave.
Step 2
On a cutting board, cut the chicken breasts into large pieces, add salt, pepper, turmeric and paprika. Remember a little with your hands so that the bird absorbs the spices. Put in a preheated frying pan with vegetable oil, fry over high heat for 5-7 minutes on both sides.
Step 3
Take a medium carrot, peel it, wash it, cut it into small cubes. Cut the peeled onions into half rings or strips. Peel the bell peppers, rinse and cut into strips. Put the vegetables prepared in this way in a preheated pan with oil and fry.
Step 4
Place meat and prepared vegetables in a saucepan. Add a little water, salt and pepper, cover and simmer over medium heat for about 10-15 minutes.
Step 5
Mix sour cream with finely chopped dill. In principle, you can use any greens, but dill contains a lot of essential oils that can enhance aroma and taste. Put the mixture over the poultry with vegetables and leave on the fire for a couple of minutes. Delicious stewed chicken with vegetables in sour cream is ready. For a side dish, you can offer potatoes or boiled rice. Before serving, pour the sauce over the dish and garnish with sprigs of fresh herbs. Olives cut into circles will also look great.
