Stuffed turnips can be served as a main hot dish or in addition to a vegetable side dish. This dish is not only tasty, but also very healthy and fortified.
It is necessary
- - 5-6 pcs. turnips;
- - 300 g of porcini mushrooms;
- - 1 onion;
- - 50 g butter;
- - 50 g flour;
- - 1 egg;
- - greens (at your discretion: dill or parsley);
- - 50 g of ground crackers;
- - salt, pepper to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Cool the hard-boiled egg, peel and chop finely.
Step 2
Peel the turnips, salt them, and then boil them. When the turnip is ready, drain the water, cut 1 cm from the top of the turnip. Then, without hooking the edges, remove all the pulp with a teaspoon.
Step 3
Finely chop the onion and mushrooms, then fry them in vegetable oil until golden brown.
Step 4
Transfer the resulting frying to a bowl and add about 3 tablespoons of ground breadcrumbs, finely chopped egg and herbs there.
Step 5
Mix all ingredients thoroughly and fill with the resulting mass of turnips.
Cover the hole in the turnip with the top cut off earlier. Then brush the turnips with beaten egg white or egg and roll in ground breadcrumbs.
Step 6
Grease a baking dish with butter and put the turnips in it. Add 1-2 cm of water and bake in the oven until tender.
