Ingredients:

  • 210 g flour;
  • 120 ml of plain water;
  • 2 tbsp. l. sunflower oil;
  • 1/3 tsp salt;
  • 3 tbsp. l. bread crumbs;
  • 1 tsp sugar (for dough);
  • 4 tbsp. l. sugar (for filling);
  • 10 g cinnamon;
  • 1 g vanillin;
  • 4 medium apples;
  • 2 handfuls of pitted cherries
  • icing sugar (for dusting).

Preparation:

  1. Pour the water into a bowl. First, dissolve sugar and salt in it, and then add butter and sifted flour. Knead a soft, elastic and non-sticky dough. This business can be entrusted to a bread maker, of course, if there is one.
  2. Roll the finished dough into a ball, wrap with foil and leave to rest for a quarter of an hour.
  3. Wash the apples and peel if desired. Divide each apple into 4 large wedges. Peel each slice of seeds and core, and then cut into thin slices.
  4. Cherries for the pie can be taken both fresh and frozen. Fresh cherries must be pitted, and frozen cherries must not be defrosted.
  5. Sprinkle the table with flour. Unwind the dough, roll in flour, put on the table and roll out with a rolling pin into a very thin crust.
  6. Stretch this thin cake with your hands until it is almost transparent. To do this, transfer the dough to the back of your hand so that its edges hang down. Then they begin to stretch downward under their own weight. As a result, you should get a rectangular piece of translucent dough with an approximate size of 92x52 cm.
