It is necessary

  • 1. Colored peppers - 6 pieces
  • 2. Minced meat - 1 kg
  • 3. Medium carrots - 2 pieces
  • 4. Red onion - 1/2 piece
  • 5. Narsharab sauce - 3 tablespoons
  • 6. Salt, pepper - to taste
  • 7. Mozzarella - 1 large bowl
  • 8. Hard cheese - 100 grams
  • 9. Rice - 1/2 cup
  • 10. Tomatoes in their own juice - 1 large can (I don't remember grams)
  • 11. Mineral water - 1/2 cup
  • 12. Smoked paprika - a pinch

Instructions

Step 1

Preparing the peppers. To do this, I wash them, cut off the cap from them and cleanse them of all the insides and membranes. Cut off the remaining pepper on the lids and finely chop.

If the peppers are very large, then before stuffing, they can be dipped in boiling water for one minute. No more, otherwise they will become limp.

Step 2

Boil the rice until tender, rinse and leave to cool in a saucepan.

Step 3

Three carrots on a grater (size at your discretion), finely chop the onion. We mix. Add the leftovers from the caps of the peppers.

Preheat a frying pan over a fire, put butter and our vegetable mixture there. Fry until soft.

Step 4

We mix minced meat, rice, salt, all kinds of pepper, frying, one tablespoon of narsharab and grated hard cheese. Mix well.

Put 6 pieces of tomatoes in the actual juice, turn the rest into mashed potatoes (you can make a not very homogeneous puree).

Tomatoes in their own juice must be small. They will be much more convenient to use in cooking.

Step 5

On the bottom of a large baking dish, pour half of our tomato puree, then lay out the stuffed peppers, On top of the peppers, lay out whole tomatoes and mozzarella slices.

Mix the remaining tomato puree with mineral water, add 2 tablespoons of narsharab and pour in the peppers. You can also pour on top, just gently so that the whole tomato and mozzarella remain on the pepper.

Cover with foil on all sides.

Step 6

We send our peppers into an oven preheated to 180 degrees. We bake for 60-75 minutes. Depends on the size of your pepper and how your oven heats up. If you know in advance that it is difficult for your oven to bake whole stuffed peppers, then heat it to 200 degrees.

Serve the peppers with the sauce! Peppers are best served with boiled rice or mashed potatoes.
