- - cherry tomatoes - 5 pcs.;

- To decorate the salad:
- - carrots - 1 pc.;
- - salt - to taste;
- - toothpick - 1 pc.;
- - vinegar - 2 tbsp. l.
Instructions
Step 1
It is best to use long-grain rice in this salad, since it sticks together least of all and does not boil over. Sort the rice well, clean it of impurities, then rinse and transfer to a saucepan, cover with warm water and cook over low heat until tender.
Step 2
Onions need to be washed, peeled, rinsed with boiling water, and then cut into small pieces. Onions are poured over with boiling water in order to remove excess bitterness. Wash the carrots, peel and grate on a coarse grater. Used herbs (parsley or cilantro) must be washed and finely chopped.
Step 3
Combine greens, carrots, rice, onions and corn in a salad bowl, salt and add olive oil, and then mix well.
Step 4
Tackle tomatoes: Cherry is the best. Cut the small tomatoes into 4 pieces, but add last to the salad.
Step 5
The undoubted highlight of this salad is the "chrysanthemum" used for decoration. To do this, take a carrot, peel it, and then make an oblique cut from the side of the thick edge. Next, it is necessary to separate 8 thin plates, each of which must be cut along the center, and semicircular cuts must be made on opposite sides.
Take a toothpick, overlap the folded carrot plates so that you get chrysanthemum petals. Place a kernel of corn in the center.
Step 6
Prepare a marinade for "chrysanthemum": take 200 ml of water, vinegar and salt. Put your preparation in this marinade for 5 minutes, then decorate the Chrysanthemum salad with a flower made from carrots, and you can safely serve your beautiful dish to the table.
Chrysanthemum salad dressing can also be made not only from carrots, but also onions, lettuce, beets and more.
