The easiest way to cook flounder is to fry it. For a side dish, stewed celery with onions is suitable for such fish. It turns out both nutritious and satisfying.
It is necessary
- For two servings:
- - 2 flounders;
- - 1 onion;
- - half of the root celery tuber;
- - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of flour, vegetable oil;
- - lemon juice;
- - pepper, salt.
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the flounder, peel it, cut each fish into three parts. Season the fish with pepper and salt, drizzle with fresh lemon juice.

Heat vegetable oil in a skillet. Roll the prepared fish on all sides in flour, fry until golden brown.

Peel the celery root, cut into strips. Immerse the chopped celery in water with the addition of lemon juice so that it does not darken. At this time, peel the onions, cut them into thin half rings.

In a skillet with a small addition of vegetable oil, simmer the celery and onions until soft, a little sprinkled with a pinch of sugar. Increase the heat under the skillet to slightly golden the vegetables. A simple but healthy fish side dish is ready!

Divide the fried flounder with the onion and celery garnish into two bowls. You can additionally garnish with a sprig of fresh parsley or dill. Serve hot.
