- For four servings:
- - chicken fillet - 150 g;
- - one onion;
- - tomato paste - 100 g;
- - cheddar cheese - 50 g;
- - tortillas - 2 pieces.
Instructions
Step 1
Chop small onions, fry until golden brown in a little oil. Transfer to a bowl.
Step 2
Cut the chicken fillet into thin cubes, fry in olive oil, add tomato paste, salt and pepper to taste, keep on fire for another minute, then transfer the meat to the onion.
Step 3
Rub the cheese on a coarse grater. You can use Parmesan, Gouda, or other hard cheese instead of cheddar.
Step 4
Place one tortilla in a dry skillet and sprinkle with a layer of cheese. Place the filling on the cheese layer and sprinkle the cheese on top again. Cover with a second tortilla.
Step 5
Cook for three minutes, then turn over, fry on the other side. Cut the finished quesadilla into quarters and serve hot.
