It is necessary

  • - tomatoes 6-7 pieces
  • - chicken fillet 200 g
  • - carrots 150 g
  • - onion 150 g
  • - gelatin 20 g
  • - salt and pepper

Instructions

Step 1

Peel the carrots and onions and chop coarsely: the onion - into four parts, and the carrots - into 6-8 parts.

Step 2

A liter of water will be enough to cook chicken. Dip fillets and prepared vegetables into it, also do not forget to salt and pepper. To make the broth more aromatic, you can add 5-6 black peppercorns and 2-3 bay leaves to it. Cook the chicken until tender. It will take about 20-25 minutes after the water has boiled.

Step 3

In boiled water (150 ml will be enough), you need to soak the gelatin and leave it to swell for a while. The exact time will be indicated on the package. Sometimes 15-20 minutes is enough.

Step 4

The cooked fillet must be finely chopped. Carrots, onions, as well as bay leaves and peppercorns must be removed from the broth, and the broth itself must be filtered to acquire a more transparent appearance. For work, you need only one glass of the resulting chicken broth, add gelatin to it and bring to a boil. But in no case do we boil.

Step 5

For aspic, it is better to take large tomatoes, wash them, cut off the top and remove the pulp. This should be done carefully with a teaspoon. The tomato skin must not be damaged, otherwise everything will be ruined.

Step 6

Stuff the tomatoes and fill them with broth. We put the dish in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours until the liquid solidifies completely. After the specified time, the aspic is ready for use.
