Fruit bread, also called "quick", goes well with tea, and together with fresh fruit and a glass of milk can serve as an excellent breakfast.
It is necessary
- For 16 servings:
- - 2 medium fresh peaches;
- - 210 g flour;
- - 85 g of wholemeal flour;
- - 25 g toasted wheat germ;
- - 150 g icing sugar;
- - 1 tsp soda;
- - 0.5 tsp salt;
- - 125 g of natural yogurt;
- - 1 egg;
- - 2 squirrels;
- - 2 tbsp. odorless vegetable oil;
- - 1 tsp almond essence.
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees. Spray a baking dish with vegetable oil using cooking spray, or simply line it gently with baking paper.
Step 2
Blanch the peaches in boiling water for 20 seconds. Cool, remove the skin, remove the pits and cut into small cubes.
Step 3
Sift both types of flour into a bowl, add wheat germ, sugar, baking soda, salt, mix.
Step 4
In the dry mixture, make a well and pour the mixture of yogurt, egg, egg whites, butter and almond essence into it. Stir everything just before combining the ingredients: long kneading will make the product heavy.
Step 5
Add the peach cubes and stir until they are evenly distributed. Transfer the dough to the prepared pan and flatten the top with a spatula. Bake for an hour, check readiness with a toothpick. Let cool slightly in the pan and then on the wire shelf. Cut into 16 slices as thick as a deck of cards.
