It is necessary

    • Serves 4:
    • 500 g chicken or fish fillet;
    • a pinch of ground black pepper;
    • salt to taste;
    • a pinch of turmeric;
    • half a lemon;
    • 1 egg;
    • 1 tablespoon flour (with a slide);
    • 3 tablespoons of milk;
    • olive or sunflower oil for lubrication.

Instructions

Step 1

Rinse the chicken or fish fillets well under running cold water. Check for pits. Remove the skin, cartilage, excess fat.

Step 2

If necessary, cut the fillets into portions 5 cm wide, 10 cm long and 1 cm thick. It is important not to make the pieces too thin as they will dry out when cooked. Those that are too thick will take longer to cook, which can affect your overall nutrient intake.

Step 3

Salt, add turmeric, a little ground black pepper. Squeeze the juice out of the lemon half with a fork. Make sure that no bones get into the dish. Mix well. The taste of chicken or fish fillets will be brighter if the pieces are infused in the resulting marinade for 30 minutes. If you are in no hurry, marinate the fillets and leave them in the refrigerator overnight in an enamel bowl with a lid. You can cook the next day.

Step 4

While the fillet is soaking, prepare a light batter. To do this, beat the egg a little with a pinch of salt, add flour, mix well. Milk is added last to avoid lumps.

Step 5

Preheat the skillet well, add a little olive oil or sunflower oil for lubrication.

Step 6

Gently dip the fillet into the batter, piece by piece, and place in 1 row in the pan.

Step 7

Fry fillets for 10 minutes on 1 side and 5-7 on the second side over medium heat under a lid.

Step 8

Put the finished fillet in a saucepan with thick walls, close the lid and let stand for 15 minutes.

Step 9

Serve fried fillets with vegetables. Boiled potatoes, stewed cabbage, or your other favorite vegetables work well.
