The cake is rightfully considered the king of any celebration. And this is not surprising. Delicate and delicious dessert, richly decorated with cream, fruit or chocolate, will decorate any feast. And due to the high calorie content and a rather long cooking process, this wonderful delicacy appears on the tables precisely during the holidays.

It is necessary

    • Sour cream - 800 g
    • Sugar (in the dough 2 cups
    • in cream to taste)
    • Egg - 3 pieces
    • Sunflower oil - 3 tbsp. l.
    • Butter (pre-melt and cool) - 6 tbsp. l.
    • Baking powder - 2 pack
    • Salt - 0.5 tsp
    • Flour - 5-7 stacks.
    • Vanilla sugar - 1 packet.

Instructions

Step 1

Knead the dough. To do this, put 200 g of sour cream in a large bowl, add 2 bags of baking powder and mix well. Add 3 eggs, sunflower and ghee, sugar. Mix everything very well. Sift flour separately. Gradually add a little flour to the dough, kneading it all the time. As a result, you should get a soft, plastic dough that does not stick to your hands, which can be easily rolled out into thin cakes. Leave the dough in the room for 30 minutes.

Step 2

Divide the prepared dough into 8 pieces. Roll out a cake about 6 mm thick from each. Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Bake the cakes by spreading the dough on a pre-oiled baking sheet. The cake is ready when it turns light brown.

Step 3

Cut the cakes according to the stencil (you can use a round plate for this purpose). You need to trim the cake as soon as you take it out of the oven, otherwise it will become tough and break.

Step 4

Prepare the cream. Beat the remaining sour cream with a mixer, gradually adding sugar and vanillin. Whisk until fluffy.

Step 5

Place the first crust on the cake platter and brush with cream. Cover with a second crust and repeat the procedure. Do the same with all the cakes. Coat the cake with cream on all sides. Chop the remaining scraps from the cakes and sprinkle them on the top and sides of the cake.
