Boil water, add salt to it, add rice, cover the pan with a lid. You do not need to open the lid or stir the contents of the pot. Start a timer, keep the rice on high heat for 5 minutes, then reduce heat to medium and cook for 2 minutes. For the final 2 minutes, reduce heat to low.
Step 4
Turn off the heat, but do not open the lid for another 10 minutes. After this time, you will find ready-made crumbly rice in the pan, grain by grain. Another advantage of this method is that the rice does not burn during cooking, which means that the pan remains clean.
