It is necessary

  • - rubber basin;
  • - soapy water, salt or soda solution;
  • - soft nylon brush or cloth;
  • - hydrogen peroxide.

Instructions

Step 1

Hand wash your china, preferably in a rubber basin or sink lined with rubber mats. This will reduce the likelihood that the china mug or plate will accidentally slip out of your hands and break.

Step 2

Clean porcelain dishes preferably with warm soapy water. Use only a soft nylon brush or cloth for this. Clean porcelain dishes very carefully, without using force. Gently brush away dirt from hard-to-reach places on the dishes with a toothbrush.

Step 3

Instead of soapy water, you can use a saline solution made from two liters of warm water and six tablespoons of regular table salt to clean china dishes.

Step 4

To clean tea or coffee stains from china, mix a teaspoon of regular baking soda with a teaspoon of warm water. Apply the resulting product to a cloth or soft brush and very carefully clean the porcelain from stains. Please note that this cleaning method is not suitable for removing stains from gilded china.

Step 5

Try using hydrogen peroxide to clean the stains on your china dishes. This method is quite effective. Its only drawback is that it is impossible to say for sure when the peroxide will corrode the stains, after 10 minutes or after two days. After the contamination has disappeared, place the porcelain dish in cool distilled water for the same period it has been in hydrogen peroxide.

Step 6

If you are unable to clean porcelain dishes from dirt with the help of available tools, consider purchasing a special detergent specifically designed for cleaning porcelain products.

Step 7

After cleaning, dry porcelain dishes on a dish rack or kitchen table with a towel to avoid damaging or scratching the surface.
