The recipe for Italian sambuca liqueur is not known for certain. The manufacturers manage to keep it secret. It is clear that the drink contains wheat alcohol, anise, sugar. The tasters are sure that there is an extract of berries or elder flowers.
It is necessary
- For the first recipe:
- - 700 ml of vodka;
- - 4 tablespoons of sugar;
- - ammonia-anise drops.
- For the second recipe:
- - 700 ml of alcohol 96%;
- - 25 g of black elderberry flowers;
- - 100 g of anise;
- - 400 g of sugar;
- - 550 ml of water.
Instructions
Step 1
Based on this, the "craftsmen" figured out how to make sambuca themselves. There are 2 main recipes. The first is quick and easy. You need to take a bottle of vodka, remove the dispenser into it and add 2 caps of ammonia-anise drops. A measure is a cap from a given bubble.
Step 2
Now you need to put a funnel in a vodka bottle and add sugar. Cork the bottle and shake the contents a few times to melt the sweet crystals.
Step 3
The way of using sambuca is very interesting. After the drink is ready, you need to take a glass, add 2 coffee beans to it and pour 50 grams of sambuca. The glass is now carefully placed sideways on the glass.
Step 4
Next, you need to take a lighter, set fire to the contents and twist the glass, lying on its side, holding it by the leg. Then it will warm up evenly. Now you need to put it on a leg, tightly cover it with a glass on top to extinguish the fire and drink it, having a snack with coffee beans.
Step 5
The second method is more complicated, but the drink is closer to the original. Add spices to rubbing alcohol and stir. Now the liquid can be poured into a bottle, closed with a lid and stored in a dark place for 5 days.
Step 6
After this time, a sweet syrup is prepared. Pour sugar into a saucepan and pour 250 milliliters of water. Put the dishes on a small fire, bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. It is necessary to remove the resulting foam from the surface of the syrup. When it ceases to stand out, then the sugar syrup is ready. It must be removed from the heat and cooled.
Step 7
Pour 300 ml of water into flavored alcohol, add sugar syrup, stir and pour it all into a distiller. The first 50 milliliters of sambuca that have emerged from it are poured out, and the remaining 700 are poured into 1-2 bottles and removed for a week in a dark place. After that, you can taste homemade sambuca.
