If you make your own lemonade from juice, you probably know what it contains and can prepare it for maximum health benefits. For example, you can avoid adding sugar, dyes, flavorings and preservatives, which are abundant in ready-made carbonated soft drinks.
A freshly made homemade carbonated drink will contain more vitamins and minerals that are typically lost in industrial processing, and more fiber as you can use more fruit.
To make a homemade carbonated drink, you will need:
- half a mango;
- 1 apple;
- a handful of strawberries;
- sparkling water;
- ice (optional).
You can also use other fruits in the same amount.
- Wash selected fruits, peel and seed if necessary.
- Use a juicer to slice and juice the fruit.
- Pour fruit juice to half a glass.
- Fill the glass to the end with sparkling mineral water.
- Add ice to the glass and garnish with a slice of one of your used fruits, such as half a strawberry.
