The golden yellow rosehip liqueur is a pleasant tart drink with a subtle orange and cinnamon aroma. To prepare this liqueur, berries with spices must be infused with vodka and diluted with sugar syrup.
It is necessary
- - 500 g of rose hips;
- - 1.5 liters of vodka;
- - 400 ml of sugar syrup;
- - cinnamon stick;
- - zest from half an orange.

Step 1
You can use frozen rose hips in this recipe. Put them in a jar. Add orange zest, cut into strips.
Step 2
Send a cinnamon stick to the jar to the rose hips and zest. Pour in strong quality vodka. Stir lightly, close the jar with a lid and leave for about 15 days. During this time, shake the mixture occasionally to make the liquor more aromatic as a result.
Step 3
After 15 days, strain the liquid from the jar, the rose hips and zest are no longer required, remove the cinnamon stick too.
Step 4
Prepare the sugar syrup, it is very simple to prepare: in a saucepan with a thick bottom, heat the water and sugar until the sugar is completely dissolved. Add sugar by eye, the syrup should be viscous. Chill the prepared syrup in the refrigerator.
Step 5
Add sugar syrup to the strained drink, mix thoroughly. Pour the finished golden-yellow rosehip liqueur into bottles, seal tightly. Store in the refrigerator.
