Everyone will like this delicate aromatic dessert. Making apple charlotte is as easy as shelling pears, and any housewife has the ingredients for it, especially in autumn. Simple tips will help you prepare a truly lush and aromatic treat with a minimum of time.
It is necessary
- - apples - 8 pcs. medium size;
- - flour - 150 g;
- - sour cream - 1 tbsp. the spoon;
- - granulated sugar - 150g;
- - vanilla sugar - 1 sachet (10g);
- - salt - 1 pinch.
Instructions
Step 1
We wash and clean the apples. We cut each in half, remove the tails and seeds. Apples with a sour taste are best suited for charlotte - for example, Antonovka. Cut the halves of apples into equal slices about 0.5 cm thick.
Step 2
We put the oven to heat up to 180 degrees. Break 4 eggs into a large bowl, add a little salt and begin to beat with a mixer or a hand whisk. Continuing to beat the mass, add a bag of vanilla sugar, then 150 g of granulated sugar. Then beat very vigorously for about 5 minutes, until a lush foam forms.
Step 3
Sift 150 g of flour into a bowl with egg mass. We put 1 tablespoon of sour cream there. Mix the mass very carefully and slowly so that it remains fluffy. It is best to use a wooden spoon for this. The dough should be semi-liquid.
Step 4
Preparing a baking dish. We line its bottom with baking paper, grease the paper with butter and sprinkle a little with semolina, breadcrumbs or flour.
Step 5
Spread the apple slices evenly on the bottom of the mold. You can sprinkle them with one or two pinches of cinnamon - this will make the charlotte even tastier.
Step 6
Pour the dough on top. Shake slightly so that it evenly covers the apples and seeps to the bottom.
Step 7
We put the charlotte in a preheated oven for 20 minutes. When the cake is browned on top, switch the oven to the bottom heating mode. After 5-7 minutes, switch the temperature to 100 degrees so that the cake is well baked inside. The times can be adjusted depending on the characteristics of your oven. You can check the readiness by piercing the cake with a toothpick or a match: if there is no sticky dough left on it, then it is ready.
