Traditionally, charlotte is made with apples. There are many recipe options, and not all of them are easy to follow. But there are also simple ones with which there will be no hassle.

What is required?

  • apples (preferably an autumn variety);
  • a couple of eggs;
  • 100 g melted margarine;
  • half a glass of sugar (you can smaller, so that it is not so sweet);
  • a couple of Art. tablespoons of mayonnaise;
  • a teaspoon of baking soda;
  • a glass of flour.

How to cook?

  1. Take a mold (not too bulky), grease the bottom and walls with vegetable oil without taste.
  2. For charlotte, take apples with sourness, cut them into slices, circles, cubes - as you like. Sprinkle lightly with sugar and cinnamon.
  3. Take all the ingredients for the dough, first mix with a mixer, whisk or even a spoonful of eggs, melted (but not hot!) Margarine, mayonnaise, sugar and baking soda. Then add flour to this mass and turn everything into a homogeneous substance.
  4. Pour the dough over the apples and send the charlotte mold to the oven preheated at 180 degrees. After 20 minutes, check the baked goods - stick in a toothpick and if it is dry, then the oven can be turned off. If traces of dough remain on the stick, then send the cake back to the oven for 5-10 minutes.

Charlotte with apples according to this recipe turns out to be airy, sweet and fragrant. Serve it as a separate dish, but add condensed milk or milk sauce if desired.
