It is necessary

    • For the test:
    • wheat flour - 570 g;
    • egg - 1 pc;
    • milk or water - 200 g;
    • sugar - 20 g;
    • salt - 10g.
    • For filling:
    • blueberries;
    • sugar.

Instructions

Step 1

First of all, you need to prepare the dough for the dumplings. Use a deep dish in which you will prepare the dough. Heat the water slightly, dilute the salt and sugar in it, then pour it into the prepared container. Water can be diluted halfway with milk or use whole milk with a low percentage of fat. After that, add the egg there and beat everything well. Then add the flour gently with continuous stirring. Now knead the tough dough, cover it with a towel and let sit for thirty minutes. This is necessary for the swelling of the gluten.

Step 2

While your dough is swelling, start making the filling for the dumplings. Rinse the berries thoroughly in cold water. Then put them in a colander and let sit for fifteen to twenty minutes. During this time, all unnecessary water will drain, and the berries will be ready for further use.

Step 3

Well, now the most important thing: start sculpting dumplings. Take the dough and roll it out into a thin layer. Then cut out the circles with a round metal notch or glass with thin edges. Place one or two teaspoons of blueberries in the middle of each circle of dough and sprinkle with a little granulated sugar. After that, connect the edges of the dumplings and seal well so that they do not disperse during cooking. Shape the dumpling into a crescent shape. Its size can be absolutely any.

Step 4

Place a pot of water on the fire and wait for it to boil. Release the dumplings into boiling salted water and make sure that they do not stick to the bottom. To do this, they need to be stirred periodically. Cook them until they pop up and take them out immediately. Place them on a flat dish and season with butter to prevent the dumplings from sticking together. Sprinkle with granulated sugar or powdered sugar on top.

Step 5

Serve hot dumplings with sour cream or fruit syrup.
