But recently, many variations of this dish have appeared. Many housewives began to add their favorite ingredients, and often the dish only benefits from this.
It is necessary
- - potatoes - 6 pcs.;
- - onions - 1 pc.;
- - sour cream with a fat content of 20% - 150 ml;
- - chicken egg - 1 pc.;
- - flour - 2 tbsp. l.;
- - ground black pepper;
- - salt;
- - butter - 100 g;
- - sunflower oil - 1-1, 5 tbsp. l.;
- - fresh dill - 0.5 bunch.
Instructions
Step 1
Peel the onions and cut into thin quarter-rings. Take a frying pan and pour a little sunflower oil into it, literally 1-1.5 tablespoons. When it's hot, place the chopped onion in the skillet and fry until golden brown.
Step 2
Peel the potatoes, rinse and grate on a medium grater. Transfer it to a saucepan, press down a little and drain off excess liquid. Add sautéed onion, egg, sour cream, flour, black pepper and salt to taste. Mix all ingredients well to get a homogeneous mass.
Step 3
Put the pan where the onions were fried on the stove and heat well. Put a lump of butter in it and melt it. Take a tablespoon, pour the potato mass into it with a slide and place in the pan to make a small flat cake. In the same way, fill the entire skillet with potato cakes and fry until golden brown on both sides. There should be 9-10 potato pancakes in total.
Step 4
Put the finished pancakes on a separate plate or dish. Serve them hot along with sour cream and chopped fresh dill.
