It is necessary
- For the test:
- - 500 g wheat flour
- - 200 g sugar
- - 60 g butter
- - 3 tbsp. spoons of sour cream 15% fat
- - 2 eggs
- - 1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar
- - 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- For filling:
- - 1 can of boiled condensed milk
- - 200 g butter (soften)
- - 50 g walnuts
- Moreover:
- - 1 raw carrot
- - 1 raw beet
- - granulated sugar
- - fresh leaves of mint or lemon balm
Instructions
Step 1
Remove the eggs from the refrigerator first. Whisk them with granulated sugar using a mixer or blender with a whisk attachment. Beat at low speed. Remove the butter from the refrigerator, when it becomes soft, stir it into the egg-sugar mass. Whisk again at low speed with a mixer.
Step 2
Stir sour cream and vanilla sugar into the dough, beat. Pour in the wheat flour sifted with baking powder and knead into a soft dough, leave it for a short period of time at room temperature.
Step 3
Powder the kitchen counter with flour, lay out the dough and shape into a sausage. Using a knife, cut the sausage into portions, mold balls from each. Cut each ball into 2 halves with a knife.
Step 4
Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil or cover with parchment. Lay out the dough pieces and place in the oven for 15 minutes, bake until tender at 180 degrees Celsius. Make sure that the workpieces are not too browned.
Step 5
Prepare the filling at this time. Cut the nuts into large enough pieces. Beat condensed milk and butter with a mixer until you get a homogeneous fluffy cream.
Step 6
Remove the baked cake halves from the oven, carefully remove from the baking sheet and let cool slightly. Take a teaspoon and take out some dough from the middle of the pieces. Put a piece of walnut in the resulting holes and grease the halves with a sufficient amount of cream. Connect the halves in pairs. There should be enough cream so that they stick easily and do not fall apart.
Step 7
Grate the carrots and beets in separate containers and squeeze the juice from them. Take a silicone brush and dip it in carrot juice, go over all the cakes. Now take a small piece of clean gauze, fold it several times and dip it in the beetroot juice. Blot the cakes with gauze on one side. Sprinkle the peaches with sugar and garnish with mint leaves.
