The calorie content of the nut is high and amounts to 718 kcal per 100 g, but you should not be afraid of such a large figure, because to get a daily dose of nutrients it is not necessary to eat this amount, it is enough to season one of the dishes with it. The fat contained in the product makes up ¾ of the total volume, but due to its plant origin, it not only does not cause harm, but is also an irreplaceable dietary supplement for people with high cholesterol levels and prone to atherosclerosis. It is even more effective than the proven olive and flaxseed oils. Eating macadamia within reasonable limits helps to improve vascular permeability and strengthen their walls.

Dishes containing macadamia should not be given to dogs, as this nut is poisonous for them and can cause them long-term weakness and poor health.

As the main active ingredient in oils and creams, niacin is indispensable for maintaining the normal condition of the skin. Niacin is included in the complex of preventive measures used for stable disorders of the emotional state: depression, stress and some mental illnesses.

Lack of vitamin B1 leads to a deterioration in the functioning of the muscular system, including the heart and digestive tract, as well as a decrease in the nerve impulse. In addition, he is a participant in hematopoiesis and slows down the aging process, especially in the presence of such negative factors as smoking and alcohol consumption.
