  • • Onions - 1-2 pcs.
  • • Odorless vegetable oil - 2 tbsp. l.

Step 1

The first step is to prepare the filling. To do this, finely chopped onion and diced cabbage are fried in a pan until half cooked. The filling is ready when the cabbage is soft, but still a little crispy. The finished cabbage with onions is thrown onto a sieve and the excess liquid is allowed to drain.

Step 2

While the cabbage filling gives off excess liquid, we are engaged in the dough. We combine all the ingredients for the dough with a whisk or mixer. Pour the sifted wheat flour last. The exact amount of flour depends on its quality and gluten, so you need to focus on the consistency of the dough. For jellied cabbage pie, the dough should be like a pancake.

Step 3

On a baking sheet or in a detachable form, previously greased with vegetable oil, spread half the dough with spoons. It is leveled and the filling is placed on top. Spread the second half of the dough on the filling. The prepared pie is baked in the oven at 180 degrees for 40-45 minutes. The finished cake is greased with vegetable oil on top. Allow to cool and cut into portions.
