It turns out that you can make many original desserts from the most common bananas. These fruits are incredibly tasty not only fresh, they are also successfully fried in a pan and baked in the oven. Try and make something interesting out of the usual bananas.
Sprinkled bananas
Ingredients:
- ripe bananas
- liquid honey
- grated chocolate
- crushed biscuits
- chopped nuts
- coconut flakes
Preparation:
Peel the bananas, cut exactly in the middle across. Stick a long wooden skewer into each of the resulting halves. Now dip the banana slices in honey, then sprinkle liberally with chocolate, coconut, cookie crumbs, or nuts. Place in glasses before serving.
Flambe bananas
Ingredients:
- 2 ripe bananas
- 50 g butter
- 2 tbsp. tablespoons of cane (brown) sugar
- 2-4 scoops of ice cream
Preparation:
Melt the butter in a wide skillet over moderate heat. Add brown sugar and stir the mixture with a spatula. Cut the peeled bananas lengthwise into 2 parts, place in a frying pan. Fry first on one side and then on the other. Place on a plate and serve hot with ice cream and grated chocolate.
Grilled bananas
Ingredients:
- 4 ripe bananas
- 4 thin slices of loin
- sugar
- chopped nuts
- cinnamon
Preparation:
Cut the peeled bananas lengthwise into 2 equal parts. Stir in granulated sugar, cinnamon and nuts. Put the resulting filling on each half of the banana. Now fold the halves in two and wrap with the loin pieces. Grill for 10 minutes.
Tip: If you are confused by the unusual combination of loin and banana, then you can skip the loin, but instead pour honey on the baked bananas and sprinkle with grated chocolate
Bananas in dough
Ingredients:
- ripe bananas
- powdered sugar
- vegetable oil for deep fat
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- soda on the tip of a knife
Preparation:
Peel the bananas and then cut them across into 3 roughly equal sized slices. Knead the dough to a fairly liquid consistency and dip the banana slices into it. Heat the sunflower oil in a deep frying pan and fry the bananas in batter until golden brown on all sides. Sprinkle with icing sugar before serving.
