Probably, each of us sometimes wants to pamper ourselves with a delicious, quick, easy to prepare and at the same time delicious dish. Italian pasta with shrimp is a lifesaver of our everyday life, as it is healthy, tasty and suitable for both an everyday dinner and a romantic evening by candlelight. Delicate and delicate taste of shrimp in a creamy sauce, appetizing pasta, a glass of wine - and you will be enveloped in the magic of a Mediterranean evening!
It is necessary
-
- spaghetti - 200 g;
- frozen king prawns 300 g;
- cream 20% - 400 ml;
- olive oil - 4 tablespoons;
- garlic - 1 clove;
- salt;
- lemon 1/2 pc;
- cherry tomatoes - 10 pcs.
Instructions
Step 1
Peel the shrimp from the shell, place in an enamel or porcelain dish. To add extra piquancy to the taste, pour lemon juice on the shrimp and leave to marinate for 10-15 minutes. Longer marinating can add unnecessary acidity and break the soft texture of the shrimp.
Step 2
Add olive oil to a hot skillet. Divide a clove of garlic into 4-5 slices, fry for 1-2 minutes in olive oil, then remove - we will no longer need them. Put the shrimps in the pan and stirring continuously, fry for 2-3 minutes (the shrimps will change color from gray to the usual pink-orange color). Add cream, stir sauce and reduce heat. The sauce should melt well and become thick. This process can take you 20-25 minutes. Stir occasionally to avoid scorching the cream.
Step 3
Boil the spaghetti in boiling salted water. First, add a tablespoon of odorless vegetable oil to the water. This will prevent sticking and you won't have to douse the spaghetti with cold water.
The most important thing is not to digest the spaghetti and "catch" the al dente stage, that is, there should be an effect of slight undercooking, elasticity.
Step 4
Squeeze 1 clove of garlic into the slightly cooled sauce through a press, mix thoroughly. Place the hot pasta on large plates, place the shrimps in the sauce in the center, cut the cherry tomatoes in halves and place along the edges of the plate. Sprinkle with freshly ground pepper on top.
