It is necessary

  • • 2 chicken eggs;
  • • 200 g semolina;
  • • ½ teaspoon of baking soda and fine salt;
  • • 1 tablespoon of ghee;
  • • 220-240 g of wheat flour;
  • • ½ liter of kefir;
  • • 3 tablespoons of granulated sugar;
  • • 12 tablespoons of sunflower oil (odorless).

Instructions

Step 1

Remove all food from the refrigerator in advance so that it has time to warm up and is at room temperature.

Step 2

Pour kefir into a deep cup and pour the required amount of baking soda into it. Everything mixes well and is removed to a warm place for just a few minutes. During this time, foam should form on the surface of kefir.

Step 3

In a separate deep bowl, you need to break the eggs and add granulated sugar there. Then, using a mixer, the resulting mixture is whipped. After that, you need to pour the pre-sifted wheat flour into the cup and mix everything.

Step 4

Pour kefir with soda into the resulting dough and put the required amount of salt. Then everything is thoroughly mixed. Stir the dough so that all the lumps disappear.

Step 5

After that, you need to heat the sunflower oil and pour it into the dough, at the same time you need to add semolina to it. Mix everything. The dough will turn out to be thin.

Step 6

The cup with the dough should be removed to a warm place and covered with a napkin. The dough should be there for at least 30 minutes. During this time, the semolina will swell and it will become thicker (similar in consistency to thick sour cream).

Step 7

After the dough is ready, you need to put a flat frying pan designed for baking pancakes on a hot stove. Its bottom and sides should be thoroughly greased with vegetable oil.

Step 8

When the pan is hot enough, you need to pour in enough dough to make a not very thick pancake. It is necessary to fry it on both sides until an even, golden brown crust is formed. Then remove the pancake from the pan.

Step 9

After the pancakes are fried, they can be served immediately. If desired, you can wrap your favorite filling in each pancake or serve condensed milk, sour cream or jam with them.
