First, prepare the charlotte dough. To do this, beat the eggs with a mixer, add a little sugar to them, the amount of which depends on your taste preferences. After the sugar is completely dissolved, begin to gradually pour in the flour, kneading the dough. Add some salt (on the tip of a knife). Mix everything thoroughly. You should get a mass that resembles sour cream in consistency. Remember that the better you beat it, the tastier your cake will be.

Add some vanilla, cinnamon or poppy seeds to the dough for flavor. You can also use raisins, for this, rinse it thoroughly under running water, then pour it over with boiling water. Add walnuts or other nuts to the cake if desired, but finely chop them so that they are not large.
