    • white bread - 300 g;
    • potatoes - 2 pcs;
    • salt
    • pepper - to taste;
    • breadcrumbs.

Instructions

Step 1

Cut meat with fat (pork, beef or lamb) into small pieces, rinse it under running water. Peel onions, potatoes, cut them into 4 pieces. Soak the pulp of white bread in water for a few minutes, squeeze it out. Twist everything through a meat grinder, it is better to use a large sieve.

Step 2

Sprinkle the minced meat with salt and pepper to taste, mix everything thoroughly until smooth. Few people know that it is not necessary to add an egg to the minced meat. If you put in a sufficient amount of white bread, then the cutlets will not disintegrate and will turn out to be soft, juicy. Form medium-sized patties, roll each in breadcrumbs.

Step 3

Pour a small amount of vegetable oil into the pan and heat. Put the cutlets on it and fry over medium heat until a crust forms (it prevents the juice from leaking out of the minced meat), without covering. Then turn the cutlet over and fry in the same way on the other side. Reduce heat, cover skillet and continue to cook alternately on both sides until tender.

Serve cutlets with mashed potatoes or boiled rice, sprinkle with finely chopped parsley, dill or cilantro. You can prepare tomato sauce for your meal. To do this, take a chopped onion, fry it until golden brown. Add tomato paste to the onion, diluted in water and cook until thick.
