Cranberry mousse can be served with cold milk. Since cranberries are an amateur berry, you can prepare the mousse with any other berries you like. The amount of sugar also depends only on your taste preferences.

It is necessary

  • For four servings:
  • - 3, 3 glasses of water;
  • - 1 glass of fresh cranberries;
  • - a glass of sugar;
  • - 3 tbsp. tablespoons of semolina.

Instructions

Step 1

Sort the cranberries, rinse, put the berries in a saucepan, mash with a wooden pestle.

Step 2

Pour 1/3 cup of boiled water into a saucepan, squeeze through cheesecloth. Remove the resulting cranberry juice in a cool place.

Step 3

Do not rush to throw away the juice from the berries - fill them with three glasses of water, boil for five minutes, strain. Brew semolina on the resulting broth, slowly pouring it in, stirring constantly.

Step 4

After 20 minutes of slow boiling of semolina, add sugar, let the mass boil, remove it from the stove. Pour the previously squeezed juice into the cooked mass, beat with a whisk to get a thick foam. In volume, the mass should double.

Step 5

Pour the mass into vases, cool in the refrigerator. If desired, you can decorate the ready-made cranberry mousse with semolina with fruit pieces and fresh berries.
