Khachapuri is a Georgian national dish, which is a tortilla or dough pie stuffed with cheese inside. In this case, the dough can be any - yeast, flaky or unleavened.
It is necessary
- egg - 2 pcs;
- hard cheese - 400 g;
- flour - 3 cups;
- kefir - 1 glass;
- vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons;
- sugar and salt - a teaspoon each;
- butter - 50 g;
- soda - 0.5 tsp
Instructions
Step 1
Stir vegetable oil, soda, sugar, salt and an egg in kefir. Add 2 cups flour to this mixture. Start kneading the dough, gradually adding the remaining flour. Do not overdo it with flour so that the khachapuri does not turn out too hard. As a result, the dough should be slightly sticky and soft. Cover it with a napkin and let stand for half an hour.
Step 2
Grate the cheese on a coarse grater, add the egg and stir. Add chopped greens to this mass.
Step 3
Shape into a dough with a sausage and cut across into 10 pieces. Roll each into a tortilla and lay out the filling. Gather the edges together and pinch well. Turn the product over, press it down and roll it out slightly with a rolling pin. Turn over and roll again. Try not to press hard, otherwise the dough may burst.
Step 4
Place the finished products in a dry skillet and bake. Fire should be done moderate, closer to weak. When you notice that one side is browning, turn over to the other. Grease the finished tortillas with oil.
